My name is Jonas Inigo Bartels. In 2024, I completed my BA at Carleton College in Minnesota, where I majored in Computer Science and minored in Music. Now in grad school, I am pursuing my MS in computer science at Northeastern University's Silicon Valley campus. I also work part-time as a CS/coding instructor with theCoderSchool Palo Alto.
I am excited by the limits of what we can compute. This has always drawn me to complexity theory, machine learning, simulation, advanced algorithms, and computationally hard problems.
Outside of work, I've scratched this itch with my many personal projects, but I'm now looking to find a position where I can tackle hard problems for a living.
When I'm not thinking about mentoring or graph search, you can find me sailing the bay, playing chess, composing music, or playing pool/snooker.
I am fluent in both English and German and have both a US and German citizenship.
